Nottingham Trent University Ranking

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is one of the largest modern universities in Nottingham (England). It has three campuses: City Campus, Clifton Campus and Brackenhurst Campus.

NTU has four Colleges:
- College of Science
- College of Art & Design and Built Environment
- College of Arts, Humanities and Education
- College of Business, Law & Social Sciences

Rankings and Ratings:

- ranked as the top post-1992 University by The Complete University Guide in 2008.

- one of the Top 50 universities in the UK, placed at 46th out of 113 higher education institutions, according to the Independent Good University Guide 2010.

- in the Research Assessment Exercise 2008 ratings, 74% of its Research was considered as 'Internationally recognised' with 8% of Research considered as 'World-leading'.

- 78th nationally in the RAE 2008 Rating, ahead of other modern institutions: U of Northumbria at Newcastle (81st) and Robert Gordon (87th).

- 67th in computer science and informatics (RAE 2008).

- 16th in the Times Ranking of Hospitality; Leisure; Sport; Recreation and Tourism Programs 2009.

- 42nd in the Guardian University Guide 2010, ahead of other leading institutions such as Liverpool, Queen's Belfast, Northumbria, Oxford Brookes.

- 17th in Art and Design courses, 53rd for History Degree Courses, 34th for Drama, Dance and Cinematics as ranked by The Times Good University Guide 2009.

-19th among the Top 20 Green Universities (Times Higher Education).

- 20th in Economics by Guardian 2009.

- 56th in the Daily Telegraph University Ranking 2007.

- 30th in Civil Engineering, 32nd in Mechanical Engineering, 33rd in General Engineering, 42nd in English Language, 42nd in French, 44th in German Language, 49th in Computer Science, and 53rd in Economics (Times 2008).
